Greenville, Goldsboro and Rocky Mount are the three largest communities in the central eastern region of North Carolina.

Other notable communities, such as Nashville, Tarboro, Roanoke Rapids and Elizabeth City, add to the economic diversity and way-of-life in North Carolina’s northeastern area.
