Eric Coates is the President of Detailed Home Inspections Inc. and has been inspecting homes since 1997 under Home Inspector license #722.
Eric is very active in the Home Inspection community. He is currently the Treasurer and Immediate Past President of the NC Licensed Home Inspector Association (NCLHIA), as well as former Vice President and former President of the Triangle Chapter. In this state-wide leadership role, Eric is uniquely able to participate in policy and legal proceedings that affect the home inspection industry and the families and professionals it serves. Eric is also exposed to best practices and current issues from across North Carolina. He is able to put this leadership experience and working knowledge to use in his management of Detailed Home Inspections.
With his extensive experience as a home inspector, business owner and NCLHIA board member, Eric brings a wealth of industry knowledge and information to HIES.
